Vice President – Debt Advisory (m/f)

Our client, a leading investment banking boutique, is looking for a Vice President – Debt Advisory (m/f). This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Associate or Vice President with at least 5 years’ relevant experience.

Your responsibilities:

• Working closely with senior team members to execute transactions
• Building comprehensive financial models and conducting financial analysis
• Assisting in the assessment of the appropriate debt level and debt structure for an asset or company
• Reviewing due diligence materials
• Preparing marketing materials for clients and information for funders during debt raising processes and other analysis for internal or external audiences
• Professionally engaging with external parties including advisers and client representatives
• Analysis and optimisation of financial structures, negotiation of transaction documentation and closing of transaction
• Coaching of junior team members

Your profile:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Mathematics, and excellent academic results
• Min. 5 years relevant experience in leveraged finance, structured finance, debt capital / loan markets, debt advisory or investment banking
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent knowledge of financial modelling
• Detailed knowledge of key principles of financial analysis methodology and best practice approach, and adequate familiarity with the European loan / debt capital markets
• Confident team player with a proven ability to build constructive professional relationships with internal and external parties at all levels
• Proven first class organisational and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of defined tasks to contribute to transaction
• Demonstrated problem solving and accuracy skills in a fast-paced work environment
• Fluent spoken and written German and English
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
