Our client is a market leader in M&A for Financial Sponsors. They are looking for an experienced M&A professional to join their team as a Vice President M&A Financial Sponsor Coverage (m/f/d). This is a great opportunity to work for a global investment banking house on challenging private equity deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a leadership role supporting origination and deal execution of M&A transactions for leading private equity firms
- Work closely with senior bankers to generate ideas and solutions to client needs
- Support senior bankers in day-to-day client coverage
- Lead due diligence sessions
- Help develop pitchbook materials for client meetings
- Interact with internal and external legal, tax, accounting and rating agency parties
- Evaluate risk factors and negotiate transactions on behalf of clients
- Handle and execute tasks encompassing valuation, accounting and other technical issues with regard to transactions
- Oversee and perform comprehensive financial and mathematical modeling and analysis
- Lead teams of associates and analysts
Your Profile
- Candidates must have at least five years of meaningful M&A experience
- Professional maturity and experience to interact directly with client and drive origination and execution
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Deep understanding of deal structuring
- Ability to independently interpret and discuss analytical data
- Takes initiative and highly motivated
- Exercises good judgement and is capable of working in a time sensitive environment
- Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in German and English
